The courts have ruled that the biggest idiot ever convicted pirate Joel Tenenbaum has willfully infringed on copyrights, and has awarded the RIAA and the media companies $675,000 , $22,500 for each of the 30 songs he admitted to sharing. In a interview following the judgment, Tenenbaum noted that things could have gotten shitloads worse:

“I’m disappointed, but not surprised, but I’m thankful that it wasn’t much bigger, that it wasn’t millions.”

I don’t understand why people insist on sharing a file after they’ve downloaded it. Let the masses do it and you will still benefit. There are probably 1,000’s of people that download music and don’t even realize that they are seeding sharing it afterward. $675,000 seems a bit much for a jury of his peers to award the record companies because how do they expect the RIAA to get the money from him. They better hire the best bill collectors on earth, Rent-a-Center. When you owe them money they come to your house to take back the shit you have and they are relentless. He said he would have to file bankruptcy if he doesn’t win his appeal. I’m really glad that I stopped seeding downloading music and movies after my computer crashed the frist time. You download too much porn and you’re pretty much bound to get a virus. Tokes go out to Tenenbaum and his internet life, because its gonna be pretty boring.

Illegally sharing files is why the internet is soooo amazing wrong and people really shouldn’t be doing it…OK I know that wasn’t very convincing, but only because I’m not quite so sure where I stand on this issue.

A Dutch court has ordered three of The Pirate Bay’s founders to block traffic to and from the Netherlands. The Pirate Bay, which has more than 20 million users, provides an index to BitTorrent files, which can be used for trading media such as movies, music and computer games. The court ruled in favor of antipiracy organisation Stichting Brein, which alleged that Pirate Bay has been infringing copyright in the Netherlands for a very long time.

The new ruling gives the  men who are allegedly responsible for the site only 10 days to shut down the site or they will face an inital fine of  3million euros. If the site is not down after the first fine has been imposed they will also face an  extra 30,000 euros per day fine for each day that the site is still live. Yesterday at the hearing one of the men was qutoed saying:

“None of us live in The Netherlands, operate from there or even own the site they are suing over. There are so many errors in this lawsuit that it’s almost a crime to spend the court’s time this way!”

It’s a sad day for Pirateay users, but if my memory serves me correctly, which I’m not so sure about because I smoke like Montell Williams, Piratebay has already been through such litigation, but since their are no anti-piracy laws in certain European countries they can simply move their servers like I believe they did last time. Long live the pirates…arghhhhh

No we’re not talking about Fergie, she’s done with that shit…..a 37 year old Georgia woman was busted Tuesday with a pound of meth in her bra worth about $13,000. Authorities pulled the woman over for a traffic violation and searched her car. During a pat down the officer found the pound of meth in her bra and she was charged with trafficking  controlled substances. She was released from the DeKalb county jail Wednesday on $30,000 bond but all she wants is her meth back. No word on what her sentencing will be but maybe now she’ll switch to a healthier substance like the cannabis sativa.

WTF is Lindsay Lohan doing back in Colorado? is the first though that popped in my head when I heard this….and then I realized that she’s been in LA chasing a boyish looking lesbian for quite sometime, so the story of a lifetime isn’t here yet. A grand jury indicted a surgery technician infected with hepatitis C on several charges Thursday, alleging she stole syringes with painkillers and replaced them with needles she had used. Prosecutors allege that at least 19 people contracted the disease as a result.

26 year old Kristine Diane Parker is responsible for directly infecting the 19 people through the shared use of her dirty needles. Officials say up to 6,000 patients at Denver’s Rose Medical Center and Audubon Surgery Center in Colorado Springs where Parker worked may have been exposed to the disease. Calls to spokesmen at both hospitals were not immediately returned. Parker also worked at hospitals in Mount Kisco, N.Y., and Houston. Health officials in those states have launched investigations. In a recent interview with police Parker has said that she didn’yt have health insurance to treat her nasty std disease and she was also unclear abot her diagnosis. State Health officials say that they are working with the CDC to trace the disease, but we think they should have Paris Hilton on the ob, becase her body seeks out and welcomes stds, almost like her snatch acts as a rest-stop for hep c, the herp, and the like…

This is really crazy that this surgery tech who works in close quarters with the ill, thinks she can fuck around and give possibly 6000 people her scheevy diseases…Lock her upand scrub her down please..barf..and that mugshot, she kinda looks like a young Dina Lohan

Here comes another example of the lengths that crazies will go to for money. Though it doesn’t surprise me because our country was partially built on it, another corruption case has been popped open. The mayors of three New Jersey cities, two state legislators and several rabbis were among more than 40 people arrested today in a sweeping corruption investigation that began as a probe into an international money laundering ring that trafficked in goods as diverse as human organs and fake designer handbags. Among 44 people arrested Thursday were Hoboken Mayor Peter Cammarano III, Secaucus Mayor Dennis Elwell, Jersey City Deputy Mayor Leona Beldini, state Assemblyman President L. Harvey Smith and state Assemblyman Daniel Van Pelt.

With their actions ranging from taking cash bribes and illegal campaign contributions all the way to selling fuckin organs, I feel safe saying that most of those people will be heavily punished ecause not only does this make NJ look like even more of a dirty awful place, but 3 mayor from the state are involved, not just one guy, and these people aren’t just cheating on their wives or getting BJ’s in inappropriate places, or fathering illegitamate children like John Edwards..and there are rabbi criminals…but we can see who they are because theyre curls stick out underneath their ski mask/yamaka  hybrids that Jews where when they commit crimes, allegedly…this is some serious criminal shit and the only way I want any part of NJ is if all these creeps get whats coming to them, which will hopefully be a bar of soap that they’ll spend years unsuccessfully, trying not to drop

Anything is possible if you’re famous. Or at least for the kid who plays Vincent Crabbee in the Harry Potter movies. Jamie Waylett who has starred in all six Harry Potter movies was uber lucky to only recieve 120 hours of community service for growing  a plant that should be legal a crime for which he could have recieved upto 14 years in jail. Jamie  was busted back in April when cops found eight bags of weed in the car in which he was riding. Cops later searched his mom’s home and found 10 growing marijuana plants. The judge was reportedly so lenient because he understood that the plants were on a small scale and were only for his use.

His community service could include clearing graveyards, cleaning graffiti, picking up trash, chopping down overgrown trees clearing, leaves and clearing ditches. He should feel like the luckiest kid on earth, but he shouldn’t have to if marijuana were legal….tokes for Jamie for pleading guilty, taking your sentence and growing madd amounts weed….If someone is growing 10 plants it probably isn’t on a small scale

We all seem to have that one grandmother who loves to go to the casino to play slots, but most of us haven’t been stuck in a car with no air conditioner just so grandma can feed her addictions. A 54 year old Florida woman was sentenced yesterday to 14 months house arrest and 3 years of probation for leaving her 2 year old granddaughter and 14 year old grandson in a car outside a Hallandale Beach casino back in August of 2008 so she can go inside and play the slots. Someone walked by the car and noticed the children just sitting there and told casino security who alerted the authorities. The prosecutor told the South Florida Sun Sentinel that the 54 year old woman had pleaded guilty to charges including felony child abuse and misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

When I was young my grandmother brought me to the casino and dumped me off in the kid area. I would spend countless hours playing video games and from what I remember I had a great time but I always knew if the kids area wasn’t there I might be locked in a car with no air conditioning with one window cracked just enough to breathe. So this story isn’t that crazy to me (or it could be the quality herb I’ve consumed). This blunt goes out to the grandmother sentenced in the hope that next time she gets that thought she’ll spark up and reconsider…well she does have 14 months of house arrest to think about it, but she’ll probably be busy gambling online.

It seems as though another casualty of an evil and unjust drug war has been taken. Joseph “Jojo” Simmons Jr., 19, plead guilty to a single charge of disorderly conduct stemming from a marijuana related arrest in May. According to police, Simmons was caught being stupid by officers rolling a marijuana joint on May 8 while sitting inside his BMW on New York’s Upper West Side. Police said he attempted to flee in the car, nearly backing into an NYPD cruiser in the process, which led to charges of resisting arrest as well as drug possession, reckless endangerment and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, which were all subsequently dropped. Jojo has been sentenced to one day of community service through is plea deal with prosecutors.

This is pretty shitty news because I am fully against the current marijuana laws that our country has, not only because they are based on racism, but because they are nearly useless. The fact that Jojo could have found a better spot to roll a joint than the always busy upper west side is a given and he should have known that. I’m all for responsible consumption by adults but his actions weren’t too responsible, so if you really must break the law, which i don’t advocate, do it in the least risky way possible and Jojo, get a darker tint on your beemer please because if I have to see your skeleton like uncle Russell lecturing you frequently, I might become ill.

Chris “beat her down” Brown has finally made a last attempt to save his career set the record straight about how sorry he really is about the incident that occurred in February when he assaulted Rhianna. Last month, Brown plead guilty to felony assault in a plea bargain with prosecutors, sparring him jail time. As part of the deal, he was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community labor to be served in Virginia. He will also complete a year of domestic violence classes, and pay fines.

In the video Chris which seriously doesn’t seem very genuine Chris notes that he cannot go into detail as to what specifically happened and that he is not making the video as a forum to spit out excuses. Possibly if he showed some compassion and a bit of regret from the beginning of the whirlwind that surrounded both he and Rhianna directly following the incident, maybe people wouldn’t have branded him a monster. Then there is the video that he made previous to this one which also addresses the incident, but in a slightly different light: in the first video that brown made, he makes sure that people know, “I’m not a monster, i love my fans, you know the truth.” Hmmmm those statements don’t sound like they are coming from someone who had just been arrested for felony assault? Well the most recent “apology” video is posted above so draw your own conclusions, but we’ve made up our minds…..Chris who???

Howard Stern’s hilariously funny, yet outstandingly creepy radio show sidekick, Arti Lange is claiming that he wasn’t simply sloppy fucking drunk when he was pulled over and subsequently arrested on July 10th. Artie is claiming that he was under the influence of the prescription drug Lexapro, which are like candy to Artie is an anti-depressant.

Lange’s 2009 Nissan Sentra rear-ended a Pontiac Grand Am at Silver Bay and Grand Avenues in Toms River, New Jersey at 1:30 pm. Ironically, he was picking up a prescription for his mother. A police detective discovered Lange at the scene of the minor motor vehicle collision at Silver Bay and Brand avenues, reportedly at about 1:30 p.m., said Capt. Steve Henry. Lange should have just had some herb and chilled out rather than pop pills and get arrested….weed is calming and pleasant…light up Artie and stop driving under the influence
