One of the slimeiest crooks of our time most talked about upcoming prisoners of the moment, Bernie watch your butt Madoff has decided not to appeal his 150 year jail sentence that he was given earlier this month. No further comment was given from Madoff’s attorney as to the state of his client. Since I feel pretty safe saying that we won’t hear much from Madoff soon I’d like to wish him a formal farewell….Mr. Madoff, thankyou for swindling kevin bacon shining some light on the deceptive financial system that we have in America. Thankyou for modeling your theivery after that of the country that you live in going to jail now to think about what you’ve done and here’s to more than a few tokes for you since you’ll be on the inside until you die….hey at least he’ll finally get in shape and loose that bootleg  Jack Nicholson hair cut, prison has it’s upsides.

Finally someone is held accountable for their actions. Today Bernard “Bernie” Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison by U.S. district judge Denny Chin which was the maximum sentence he faced. On March 12th Madoff plead guilty to fraud (mail, wire, & security) for his role in a giant Ponzi scheme that cost investors over 60 billion dollars. Madoff also plead guilty to filing false documents with the Securities and Exchange Commission and money laundering. Last week Madoff’s attorneys sent Judge Chin a letter asking for a sentence as short as 12 years stating Madoff cooperated fully with prosecuters. Madoff stole money from thousands of people and companies and though the money is gone they have to be happy at the outcome of the verdict. You reap what you sew Madoff, have fun living the rest of your life in prison and don’t drop the soap.
