Here we have Hemp for Victory, which was an educational film promoting hemp farming in the United States that was created  after marijuana had already been outlawed in 1937. Hemp for victory was made because the US needed hemp to make products for our US soldiers sailing overseas and since hemp was all that had been used since the last time we were involved in a major conflict we had no other choice and the US quickly made it temporarily legal to grow and supply the govt with hemp.

It’s so inronic how hemp produces this so-called evil drug marijuana according to the US govt. at the time and then they needed the very same people that they were arresting for growing marijuana to grow a form of the very same plant. I feel like through the use of the media and television, and this crazy video that people bought into it perfectly, and its no different in todays’ society. I want to believe that most of us are intelligent and don’t take everything we see on tv or the internet as fact before checking them out ourselves. Check facts and question motives otherwise the US govt. will soon have you housing illegal aliens to keep them from crossing the border…..sounds crazy and impossible but crazier shit has happened. Ok, just kidding that’s a bit radical, but its just to get the point across…form your own ideas and don’t be a sheep.

Apparently i’ve been living under a rock becuase I had absolutely no clue that a vaccine was even being made, let alone that it had entered a trial on humans. On monday South Arica launched a trial of an AIDS vaccine that was developed by its own researchers. The South African vaccine was developed at the University of Cape Town and targets the specific HIV strain that has affected a huge part of the population in South Africa. It is also undergoing safety tests at a trial involving 12 volunteers in Boston that began earlier this year.

Though this advance does seem extraordinary to me, i’ve ust learned that it isn’t the first time that a vaccine has made its way through South Africa. South Africa was the site of the biggest setback to AIDS vaccine research, when the most promising vaccine ever, produced by Merck & Co., was tested there in 2007. Researchers found that people who got the vaccine were more likely to contract HIV than those who did not. That news is quite bizzare and also ecuse that persons crazy finger nail below the vial, I guess they were searching for old corn earlier..yuck

Thankfully these animals have been saved from being breaded and deep fried, well for now at least, because South Korea has just added cloned dogs to their drug sniffing task force. South Korea has put cloned dogs at customs and security checkpoints throughout their major airport. Six genetic duplicates of a single Labrador retriever have been working at the country’s main Incheon international airport and three other customs checkpoints to deter drug smuggling after completing 16 months of training, the Korea Customs Service said in a statement Sunday.

This is pretty technologically advanced, but then again they are asians…I love asians for everything they’ve provided us with over the years..Playstation, the Furby, bird flu, and Tila Tequila as well as a myriad of other great things.I just wonder if since these creepy dogs have been cloned specifically for this job if they have any super-dog powers??? Maybe they are all secret ninja dogs that fight crime outside of the airport as well…or maybe i’m just really high and my mind is wandering, either way these cloned drug sniffing dogs are simply a sign of the times and a reminder that you cannot smuggle weed in your pants through South Korea

p.s.- I do have a strong appreciation for asian culture, but stereotypes are funny and can stay that way without becoming hurtful if we don’t invest too much of ourselves into them

Reindeer are dying everywhere because the holy plant a huge amount of growing weed was recently in danger. According to the LA times the LAPD discovered an estimated $1 million in marijuana at a downtown commercial building that caught fire last week. Firefighters knocked down the structure fire that engulfed a one-story commercial building, but inside they found 1,000 pot plants as well as what appeared to be a plant-growing operation. Well no word has been given on what caused the fire, but I know it’s pretty safe to say that someone losta giant stash and it makes the world a less happy place. Don’t start pot fires folks.

One thing we can all be sure of is that somewhere in the world, Kristina Chen is humping someones leg thanking the musical gods for this vomit inducing joyus news. Brian Latrell (who??) revealed on his twitter that the forgotten boy band, The Backstreet Boys will  release their new single later this month titled, Soldier Down, also adding that their new CD will be released on October 6th of this year. Needless to say we’re not at all excited about their new garbage music, but we know people really like them??? So I’ll be taking some tokes for the BSB and for the musical taste of their fans.

So I was randomly browsing youtube and came across a video thats fairly old, but never ceases to amuse me. Just in case you’ve ever witnessed Willard Scott in action he is an amazing senial old man with a loose cannon public speaker and is best known currently for announcing the smuckers birthdays on the Today Show. In this video that appeared on on the soup not too long ago Willard is explaining some useless fact little known tidbit about Japanese culture when he asks one of the little girls if she watches the today show and she doesn’t have a television. No i’m not fucking kidding, bitch ain’t got a tv……sorry had to get that out. As a person who worships the magic box embraces television for what it is, I can’t understand how this little asian girl hasn’t sold a kidney or something to get one. seriously though, she should be happy she’s not privy to some of the fuckery that is on tv right now cough denise richards: its complicated cough. No its not crazy eyes Ramona showing off another of her limitless housewife talents. It’s Baranby, who is currently sleeping with at least one of his cousins has mastered the art of useless tricks. Barnaby can toss an unlit Camel cigarette (he’s definitely a spokesperson) behind his back and then cacth it in his mouth. Barnaby then proceeds to lights a match and toss it in the same fashion as he did with the cigarette and catch it in his mouth while at the same time lighting said cancer stick.

We’re not sure how he’s perfected such an amazing trick, but we know that Barnaby looks pretty familiar. Oh shit, never mind we see it now. This is exactly what Matthew McConaughey will look like in 5 years. Barnaby aslo has his own youtube account, Barnabythejuggler,where you can catch him singing with an acoustic guitar and doing other hillbilly cool tricks. We suggest that Barnaby put down those cigs and pick up some special green stuff because it might improve his ability to look normal, in a positive way.

For those of you who have been living under a rock, or who were almost in the same situation as me and just dont care about anything Palin related, David Letterman made a very funny, but albeit completely distasteful joke about sarah palin’s younger daughter being knocked up by Alex Rodriguez at a Yankees game. Yes we know it was wrong sarah, but you dont see Letterman running to every press outlet defending himself from some of the stones you’ve recently thrown. He apologized and said it was wrong and hes done.  Palin went so far as to make a correlation between Letterman’s joke and pedeophilia as well as making him partially responsible for womens self-esteem issues???? WTF palin…anywho i’ve come to the conclusion that she is CRAZY AS CAT SHIT just desperately fame hungry and determined to stay in the limelight, but yo palin, the gig is up
